Main trends and risks of socialization of orphans in virtual reality

Abstract

The purpose of the article is to substantiate the main trends and risks of socialization of orphans in virtual reality. In the process of theoretical analysis, the relationship between the growing popularity of the virtual Internet space and the emergence of new types of social activity and forms of social interaction of individuals in the network is revealed, which in turn confirms that the virtual Internet space has become a dynamic new environment for the socialization of the individual. Based on the analysis of the theoretical provisions of socialization, the authors clarified the essence of the concept of "Socialization of orphans in virtual reality". This theoretical approach allowed the authors of the article to substantiate the trends of a dynamic new environment for the socialization of orphans as virtual socialization. The article substantiates the position that virtual socialization creates conditions for the developing personality of orphans to manifest their social activity in relation to social action or inaction, or social deed, with the help of the mechanism of social self-expression. This virtual mechanism is also present in the real social space, but in virtual socialization, in the network conditions, it acquires dominant relevance, prevails, and becomes the leading one. The authors of the article believe that in the conditions of virtual socialization, this mechanism will become the basis for constructing the virtual personality of orphans and their network social space, and will also be the basis for the process of expanding the social experience of orphans in the real social space. The results of the theoretical study are recommended for practical use in educational institutions, in orphanages, in the process of solving the problems of socialization of orphans.
