Abstract

The article examines the phenomenon of loneliness in the context of social visibility and career activity in modern society. The author examines how the constant need for self-presentation, professional involvement of the public, and the focus on success can provoke emotional isolation. The empirical part of the study is based on surveys, semi-structured interviews, and an analysis of digital activity. The results show a strong correlation between high public engagement and subjective feelings of loneliness. The paradox of “successful loneliness” is described as external achievements accompanied by inner detachment and a lack of close ties. Gender differences in the perception of loneliness, as well as the influence of the professional environment and digital self-presentation on emotional well-being, are revealed. The study highlights the need for psychological support programs for professionally active people, including emotional self-reflection, digital hygiene, and interpersonal awareness. The work is relevant for specialists in the fields of psychology, sociology, education and media communications.
